K Kids

What is K-Kids?
K-Kids is a Kiwanis organization dedicated to service in our school and community.  The club is open to all fifth graders and a small group of fourth graders who are invited through a lottery drawing. K-Kids meet on the 1st and 3rd TUESDAYS of the month:
1st at 8-8:30 and 3rd at 3:30-4:30
Through this club, students learn what it means to be a philanthropist by conducting fundraisers and service projects.

In the past, K-Kids have held family BINGO nights, contributed to Stockings for Soldiers, decorated Barkley for the holidays and beautified Barkley by planting flowers and trees.  The way it looks, this year will be just as exciting and productive!
