Barkley students have been integrating math and literacy in physical education! The game is called "Critter Stew." Students launch their "critter" from a position on the gym floor into a bin. The further the shot, the greater the point value. In the end, all teams work to add up points to find their team's score. Fourth and fifth grade play with letters instead of numbers. The team that can spell the most words with letters earned from making shots, wins!
